Have you been having problems with long website URL’s when trying to post a website link on your friends Bebo profile? After logging into my account today, I noticed that Bebo has posted yet another message regarding phishers trying to take over Bebo accounts.  Please always remember, dont ever give out your username and password to anyone.  And also dont ever log into a website which looks like Bebo.com, but it is not Bebo.com in your webbrowsers address bar.  Below is the message from Bebo.com:

Phishing Scams

Do NOT sign into any site that does not have http://www.bebo.com in the browser’s address bar, even if it looks like Bebo and they give you an apparent reason to do so.

They WILL steal your password, take over your account, send messages as you, make your life hell, etc. Yeah, we know, very annoying!

We’re working to shut down phishing scam sites as you read this.
